Installation Tips

Each of our swing sets includes a complete set of installation instructions that are developed by our manufacturer, Woodlawn Playcenters. Each swing set comes partially preassembled to simplify installation. Listed below are some additional tips for Do-It-Yourselfers.

Selecting a location:

It is important to select a level location in your yard so the swing set won't wobble and can be put together squarely with no gaps or cracks.

Be at least six feet from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, garage, house, overhanging branches, clothesline or overhead wires.

Do not install your playcenter over concrete, gravel, asphalt or any other hard surface.
